'Beware of Untimely Transitions' Ryan LeStrange Video

As we conclude our look at the story of Elijah in 1 Kings 19, we see that after he has ran and isolated himself, he then decides to appoint his successor. "So he departed thence, and found Elisha the son of Shaphat, who was plowing with twelve yoke of oxen before him, and he with the twelfth: and Elijah passed by him, and cast his mantle upon him.” 1 Kings 19:19 (KJV) A question we have to ask ourselves here is if this succession was premature. Was this succession assigned by God or was it a result of Elijah's mental warfare he had just experienced? This is a vital question to ask ourselves in our own seasons of transition. Don't move because of a hard season. Don't move in the middle of a crisis. Only move when you have a word from the Lord to do so, and surely you will have success!
