“…for in my wrath I struck you, but in my mercy I have had mercy on you. Your gates shall be open continually; day and night they shall not be shut, that people may bring to you the wealth of the nations, with their kings led in procession.” Isaiah 60:10-11
A couple of months ago the Lord began to speak to me about his desire to pour out mercy and forgiveness on Yom Kippur (the day of atonement: begins at sundown on Wednesday, October 1, and ends at nightfall on Thursday, October 2).
Yom Kippur began when the children of Israel sinned by worshipping a golden calf that they built. Moses then ascended Mount Sinai and prayed to God to forgive them. After two 40-day stints on the mountain, full and divine favor was obtained. The day Moses came down the mountain (the 10th of Tishrei) was to be known forevermore as the Day of Atonement—Yom Kippur.
As I sought the Lord regarding this mercy being poured out during Yom Kippur 2025, the Lord began to remind me of a word he spoke to me in 2019. During a time of worship I heard the words, “Oil the hinges of the western gate so that I may come in.”
I knew that he was speaking to me about a spiritual western gate within the United States. I asked him, “Where is the western gate located in the US?” I was shown the San Diego area. Since that time, I have carried this word but felt to wait for the “appointed time.”
As the ten days of awe approached (Rosh Hashanah thru Yom Kippur) this year, I kept hearing the verses from Isaiah 61:3-4 that says,
“…to grant those who mourn in Zion— to give them beauty for ashes, the oil of gladness for mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of heaviness (fainting); that they shall be called oaks of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, THAT HE MAY BE GLORIFIED. They shall build up the ancient ruins; they shall raise up the former devastations; they shall repair the ruined cities, the devastations of many generations.”
At the same time I was approached by some prophetic friends from Washington DC and asked if I would help them administrate and then go on a prayer tour from Washington State, to Oregon and then through California. Then they said, “The Lord spoke to us clearly to end in the San Diego area on Yom Kippur.”
I then knew— THIS IS THE APPOINTED TIME TO OIL THE HINGES OF THE GATE SO THAT WE CAN OPEN THE GATES— that the King of Glory can come in. Then God led me to a venue in San Diego county that it turns out has golden gates at the entrance! So, tomorrow (October 2nd, during the final hours of Yom Kippur) we will gather with others to humble ourselves in repentance, seeking full and divine favor and mercy to be sealed for California and our nation. A divine turning point!
The western states have been devastated with idolatry and deception— our children have been indoctrinated by these demonic things. But this is the word of the Lord,
“Watch as I do what no man can do. I will uncap the ancient wells of revival and the gates will open that welcome me in. New wine will be poured out in California and it will flow to Oregon, Washington and to the entire nation. And from there to the nations.Though it appears impossible— I will do it.”
““Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn. “Lift up your eyes and look about you: All assemble and come to you; your sons come from afar, and your daughters are carried on the hip. Then you will look and be radiant, your heart will throb and swell with joy; the wealth on the seas will be brought to you, to you the riches of the nations will come.” Isaiah 60:1-5
Your sons and daughters will return— from be afar from God! They will be restored and our cities of devastation will be restored.
The Lord also spoke to me out of Psalm 40,
“I waited patiently for the Lord; he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the slimy pit, out of the mud and mire; he set my feet on a rock and gave me a firm place to stand. He put a new song in my mouth, a hymn of praise to our God. Many will see and fear the Lord and put their trust in him.” Psalms 40:1-3
Vs. 11-13,
“Do not withhold your mercy from me, Lord; may your love and faithfulness always protect me. For troubles without number surround me; my sins have overtaken me, and I cannot see. They are more than the hairs of my head, and my heart fails within me. Be pleased to save me, Lord; come quickly, Lord, to help me.” Psalms 40:11-13
Then the Lord took me to Psalm 140:11 that says,
“Do not let slander be established in the land.”
To slander is to accuse falsely. Slander has been established in our nation and especially within California, Oregon and Washington. The governments and many citizens slander God, his ways, his truths, and his design of our children. The Lord is about to uproot the slander that has been established in these states and has devastated many cities. Then the NEW WINE WILL BE UNCORKED and flow like a river to bring revival.
But first the Lord is asking us to “stop the slander in the Church— from among his people.” This has allowed the enemy a foothold. There I a difference between exposure of sin and allowing slander to flow from our mouths from presumptions and judgements. I believe that on Yom Kippur the Lord would like to seal a decree of mercy over his people and through them over our nation. But let us repent for allowing slander to be established in the Church. Again, I am not speaking about the true exposure of unrepentant sin— I am talking about a spirit of slander that has resulted from disillusionment and bitterness. This is not my thought, but it is what the Lord spoke to me.
Yom Kippur 2025 is a divine moment for us— God has chosen this sacred time to do for I what he did for his people when Moses walked the earth. He will forgive our sins.
It is time to open up those golden gates! Our children will be restored, our devastated cities rebuilt and revival will come.
THIS IS OUR TURNING POINT.
