Embracing the Mandate of the 7 Mountains Sphere of Influence
When I said yes to the Mandate of the 7 Mountains sphere of influence, I realized that I was stepping into a profound journey, one that would challenge me in ways I had never anticipated. This mandate, which calls for believers to engage actively in various cultural spheres—such as religion, family, education, government, media, arts and entertainment, and business—invited me to embrace a mission that transcended my previous understanding of faith and its application in everyday life.
The Awakening of a New Purpose
For an extended period, I remained silent on the matter, contemplating the implications of this commitment. I understood that this journey would not merely be about personal growth; it would involve a collective movement aimed at transforming society through the influence of faith. The weight of this realization was heavy, yet it was also exhilarating. I knew that God was preparing me for something significant, something that would require courage, resilience, and an unwavering commitment to His purpose. And ive had serious backlash from those who question who I am and what am I doing.. Ok Here goes.
Preparing for the Journey
As I began to explore this mandate more deeply, I found myself reflecting on the various mountains that shape our world. Each sphere of influence presents unique challenges and opportunities for those who seek to make a difference. I realized that my role would be to engage with these areas not just as an observer but as an active participant. This would mean stepping out of my comfort zone, confronting societal norms, and being a voice for truth and justice in places often overshadowed by darkness.
Unveiling the Revealed Confession
Now, it is time to release the revealed confession of what has been in the works up to this present date. This confession is not merely a personal narrative; it is a testament to the divine orchestration that has been unfolding behind the scenes. I have witnessed God’s hand guiding me, providing insights and revelations that have shaped my understanding of my role within this mandate. Through prayer, study, and fellowship with others who share this vision, I have come to recognize the profound impact that faith-driven individuals can have in every mountain of influence. The stories of transformation, the testimonies of lives changed, and the victories won in the name of faith are powerful reminders of what is possible when we align ourselves with God's purpose.
Looking Ahead
As I embark on this journey, I am filled with anticipation for what lies ahead. I am committed to sharing my experiences, insights, and the lessons learned along the way. I believe that by doing so, I can inspire others to engage in their own spheres of influence, fostering a ripple effect that can lead to meaningful change in our communities and beyond. In conclusion, saying yes to the Mandate of the 7 Mountains is not just a personal commitment; it is a call to action for all who desire to see the world transformed through the power of faith. It is time to rise, to speak out, and to engage with the culture around us, knowing that we are not alone in this endeavor. Together, we can impact the mountains that shape our society and bring forth a new era of hope and renewal.
What is it? The Seven Mountain Mandate is an evangelical Christian ideology that calls for believers to take control or influence over seven key areas of society: family, religion, education, government, media, arts and entertainment, and business. Its goal is to "take dominion" over these cultural pillars, which proponents believe will bring about the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. Originating in the 1970s with figures like Bill Bright and Loren Cunningham, the movement has evolved over time to focus more on social and political influence, and it is associated with the New Apostolic Reformation.
The seven mountains:
The seven areas are consistently identified as:
Religion
Family
Education
Government
Media
Arts and entertainment
Business
Origin and evolution:
The concept was introduced in the 1970s by Bill Bright and Loren Cunningham, initially framed as a strategy for evangelism. It later became more focused on cultural and political "dominion" through the work of figures like Lance Wallnau.
Goal:
The stated goal is to influence these spheres with Christian principles, leading to a more Christian-friendly society. Some proponents believe this will facilitate the Second Coming of Christ.
My Story...
Little did I know that when I entered the "Spheres," I did not realize the profound journey that awaited me, one that would intertwine my faith, passion, and purpose in ways I could never have imagined. This journey would take me through various mountains of influence, each one building upon the last, revealing layers of my calling and divine destiny that had been patiently waiting for me to discover.
Religion For 38 years, I have been deeply immersed in the religious mountain, dedicating my life to serving and ministering to others. This has been more than just a vocation for me; it has been a calling that I absolutely LOVE! The joy of sharing the gospel, nurturing the spiritual growth of others, and witnessing lives transformed by the power of faith has been incredibly fulfilling. It has been a journey filled with challenges and triumphs, but through it all, my love for God and His people has only grown stronger.
As I continued to grow in my knowledge and relationship with the Lord, I felt a divine nudge that led me to enter the Education Mountain. This transition was marked by my desire to write books aimed at helping others deepen their walk with God. Each page I penned was not just a collection of words but a heartfelt attempt to share insights, wisdom, and encouragement that I had gleaned from my own experiences. I truly believed I had found my divine spot and was quite satisfied in my role as an educator and mentor. However, one day, everything changed in a way that I could never have anticipated.
My secretary and I were returning from a local pastoral meeting when an unexpected wave of emotion overtook us. In that moment, we began to cry out, echoing the fervent plea of Caleb in the scriptures, "GIVE ME MY MOUNTAIN!" (Joshua 14:12). As we looked ahead, we saw a newly formed mountain in our community, one that was entirely made of trash, that the community had it transformed, covered in lush, green grass to establish a unique and beautiful golf course. This vision ignited a fire within us, compelling us to take action.
Without hesitation, we made our way to the exclusive golf course and approached the keeper with a simple request: could we go up the mountain to pray? She gave us a very odd look, clearly unsure of what to make of our request, but surprisingly agreed. Once we reached the top, we began to cry out in prayer, declaring, "Give me My Mountain!" It was an intense moment of spiritual warfare and declaration, but as we prayed, we noticed the golfers around us staring in disbelief, as if we were from another world entirely.
After we finished our fervent prayers, we realized that the zeal we had felt atop that mountain had faded, and we had to make our way back down in high heels and skirts. At that time, we adhered to a more traditional dress code, refraining from wearing pants or jeans to meetings. The experience was both exhilarating and humbling, a reminder of the sacrifices we often make in pursuit of our calling.
It wasn't long after this pivotal moment that the Lord began to move us into the supernatural realms of His presence, and everything began to shift dramatically. Signs, wonders, and miracles became a regular part of our ministry life, and we were filled with a sense of awe at what God was doing.
We had the privilege of hosting Prophet Kim Clement and Dr. Lance Wallnau, and during one of his teachings, Lance began to describe the 7 Mountain Mandate.
My secretary and I exchanged shocked glances, realizing that we had been crying out for our mountain, and God had indeed answered our prayers!
As this revelation unfolded, our entire congregation began to EXCEL. Artists, musicians, authors, preachers, military personnel, government workers, and media personalities began to contact us, eager to ask questions and learn more about their own callings.
They would show up at our meetings, thirsty for knowledge and inspiration, and it was exhilarating to witness and be a part of this vibrant community of believers pursuing their God-given destinies.
Then, one day while in prayer, I felt the Lord speak directly to my heart: "Theresa, it's time for you to enter the mandate." At that moment, I thought I was already in it, or so I had believed. I had established a global prophetic voice through my work in education, faith, and media.
The church I pastor is firmly rooted in faith, and I had authored the "Ambassadors Prayer Guide," a book that has reached world leaders and members of Congress, providing them with spiritual guidance and support.
Additionally, I serve as the Chicago Ambassador for the Presidential Prayer Team, which has been an incredible honor and responsibility. However, when it came to the business mountain, I found myself facing a challenge. I have never considered myself business-savvy, nor have I had a natural inclination for it. Yet, in a surprising turn of events, God opened the door for me to launch a skincare business called Redeem and Renew Skin Solutions. This venture has allowed us to ship products to over 20 nations, and it has been such a blessing to witness both women and men embrace their best selves through our offerings.
Yet, despite these accomplishments, I sensed that something else was stirring within me, a deeper calling that I needed to embrace.
I am part of the Family of God, and I LOVE THIS! The Family Mountain has been calling to me, urging me to explore the connections and relationships that bind us together as believers.
Recently, I began to develop a lifestyle website focused on home and family, aiming to create a space for sharing ideas and inspiration.
However, I found myself grappling with the reality that all my family lives far away. I questioned how I could fulfill this calling when physical distance seemed to pose a barrier.
In response to my concerns, the Lord gently reassured me: "Keep inviting them, keep loving and praying in the meantime. Love those I bring to you, and share Home, Hearth, and Hope with all." This was my confirmation to embrace the Family Mountain wholeheartedly.
As I continue to navigate these various mountains of influence, I am filled with anticipation for what God has in store. Each step I take is guided by His wisdom, and I am committed to fulfilling the mandate He has placed on my life. The journey is far from over, and I look forward to seeing how He will continue to shape and mold me for His glory.
Bless you all as you are part of the society we call The KINGDOM
