'How Seers Develop Spiritual Vision' Dr Barbie Breathitt

On Monday, we began exploring how God created us as supernatural beings designed to see beyond the natural realm. Today, I want to build on that foundation with some deeper insights God has revealed about developing our spiritual vision.
Seers are called to reveal His story - the reality of the past, the ever-present now, and the spiritual realms of the future. God exists outside of time because He is eternal, so when you're carried by the Spirit of the Lord, He can take you into any of those dimensions.
How do we develop our spiritual eyes to see in the realm of the spirit?
The Lord shows us things ahead of time through visitations, angelic messengers, dreams and visions, or by moving us into a trance. Seers often receive strong visual or physical impressions, and they're able to see in different ways:
Dreams and prophetic words written on people or objects
Internal pictures within their body like watching a private screen
Words, objects, colors appearing in their spirit
Sentences appearing like reading a ticker tape or heavenly scroll
Remember when Jesus told His disciple to catch a fish to pay taxes? Jesus was able to look beyond the normal expected barriers into the heavenly realms and see what His Father was doing. Jesus only did that which He saw His Father doing - and we're called to do the same things.
Only the eyes of our heart can see into the spiritual realm of reality. These natural physical eyes don't look past the natural, but the spirit eyes behind them can see into eternity, dream the impossible dream, and have a vision of what God is doing in the concealed realms.
When our eyes are tuned to see by love's light - because God is love - everything begins to take form and come into focus. The more we come to know God and His ways, the clearer our visionary sight becomes.
This revelation is building toward something powerful that I'll share with you on Friday, when we'll discover how seers demonstrate God's presence and walk in His authority.
